I grew up with pretty much all Ranger fans even though we were all in Nassau county. I had to listen to that crap all the time. I got sick of hearing it.

I guess its all about location. Only time I remember hearing it was when both teams were brutal and they had that thing on MSG about the tri state battle or whatever the (frank) it was. I used to say this our cup since neither fan base had anything to look forward too. Lots of fights too during those crap years
